Arthur Edmunds

After graduating from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and completing his military service, Arthur Edmunds worked at a shipyard for a time and then became a designer for Chris Craft where he became involved in the company's venture into the sailboat market.
He opened his own design office in 1968.
Besides being a well known designer of power and sailing craft, Arthur Edmunds is the author of a number of books on boat design and construction including 'Designing Power & Sail'
